Bremen Youth Services will host a fundraiser April 17 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gaelic Park, 6119 W. 147th St., Oak Forest to help fund the completion of its senior/youth center behind its current facility.

Construction of the new center has begun. But an increase in costs and the closing of the bank that was to provide financing has delayed completion.

The social service agency, located at 15350 S. Oak Park Avenue in Oak Forest, provides a variety of services to kids having problems at home, school or elsewhere.

The event is called “Building Bremen for the Ages.” A $30 admission fee includes food, pop, beer, wine, silent auctions, raffles and entertainment.

There will be a grand prize raffle, with $5,000 as the top prize and $2,500 as the second. Tickets for the grand prize raffle are $50.

There will also be other raffles that will give away a flat screen television, a laptop computer, a Nintendo video game system and tickets to a White Sox game at the Jim Beam Club.
